Real applicant tracking systems differ from one employer to the next, weigh many factors we cannot see, and are only one part of hiring. A high score improves your chances of being seen by a person; it is not, and cannot be, a promise of an interview or a job. A low score does not mean you are unqualified — it usually means your resume should use the job ad’s own language more closely.
