JobWise respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This page explains how copyright owners can report alleged infringement and how we respond.
Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe that content on JobWise infringes your copyright, send us a takedown notice that includes all of the following:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list, if several works are involved).
- The URL of the allegedly infringing material on JobWise, so we can locate it.
- Your full name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Send your notice through our Contact page. We review complete notices promptly and will remove or disable access to material we believe infringes.
Counter-notices
If you believe your material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice with your contact information, the URL of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts. If the original complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the material.
Repeat infringers
JobWise does not host user accounts or user uploads — our tools run entirely in your browser. If we receive repeated valid infringement notices about third-party material we link to, we will remove those links and, where appropriate, block further linking.
